All the events that will affect the children and/or parents.
With Christmas in full swing at Rowans I am putting in one letter all the events that will affect the children and/or parents.
Sharing assembly on Friday 8th will include a performance by the choir and recorder players. Parents of these children have been sent a parentmail to invite them to attend at 9.00am.
There will be a Nativity dress rehearsal for the EYFS (nursery and reception) and KS1 (years 1 and 2) children on Tuesday 12th. This is for the children in school only. The performances to parents will be at 9.30am on Thursday 14th and Friday 15th. No tickets are required. If you have small children with you, they are welcome but please sit near a door so you can pop out with them if they make a noise.
The Panto will be on Wednesday 13th in the morning. This is for children only.
We will be singing around the Christmas tree on the evening of Thursday 14th. Festive refreshments will be served from 5.30pm onwards, singing starts at 6.00pm. This is an event for all our families and no unaccompanied children should attend. Further details will be sent nearer the time.
There is a Rock Steady concert at 2.30pm on Friday 15th December and parents of children who attend lessons are all invited.
On Monday 18th, we will have Christmas jumper day. Children may bring £1 for charity and wear their favourite jumper. They should wear this with their school uniform. This will also be class party day. Children may bring their party clothes in a bag to change into during the day, should they wish. This is also the day for the children’s Christmas dinner.
School finishes at 1.15pm on Tuesday 19th and the new term starts on Wednesday 3rd January, 2018.
We look forward to an exciting and busy time at Rowans!
